       Most people out there are not in need of 1200 watts of power to drive a massive gaming rig. However those that do need massive power and need it to be Triple SLi approved need some serious, stable and clean power. When you own 3 state of the art GPU's and you question yourself about how much power you need for them well the answer is simple and that is a lot of power especially if the cards are 3 GTX285's or GTX295's and 4870x2's. The reason for owning a good power supply has been explained over and over through the years and so there is little need to repeat it once more. That being said there are still people out there who seek the easy and cheap solution to power their systems and so in the process of doing so they endanger their entire systems. The PUC1200V is a 1200W unit with an 80Plus certification and a massive number of connectors. The design is something we rarely see since there are two cable outputs on it. However the same model in a modular version has been spotted being sold by many different pc hardware companies and to my knowledge it has won quite a few awards.
