INTRODUCTION

With the countless CPU Coolers we have had the chance to test in the past months we forgot that there is another segment in the cooling market, that of GPU coolers. Admit ably we are in an era where the graphics processing unit is what matters most for games and so keeping a graphics card cool is of the outmost importance, some even say even more important than cooling your central processing unit. A few months ago i had the pleasure of testing the Xigmatek Battleaxe, a great performing GPU Cooler with a great design and with an acceptable price tag. Today however the GPU cooling solution which we have in our hands is made by Scythe and it is called the Scythe Musashi.
Scythe is one of the most known companies in the PC industry mainly because they have been making some of the best coolers around for many many years. From the Scythe Ninja to the Scythe Infinity and Mugen, there is a Scythe cooling solution virtually for every possible need a user may have. It is no coincidence that the Scythe name has been synonym to the CPU cooling for a long time. What remains to be seen today is whether their name will become synonym to GPU cooling as well.
The Scythe Musashi is a dual fan GPU cooling solution that got its name from Miyamoto Musashi, a famous Japanese swordsman who was born back in 1584 and managed to become a legend not only through his duels but also because he founded the Niten-ryu style of swordsmanship. History aside the Musashi looks and feels great just like all of the Scythe products. What remains to see now is what numbers it can produce.
