Introduction

The Kingston HyperX LoVo memory is designed for consumers that prefer memory with a low thermal envelope, but don’t want to sacrifice performance, and the LoVo memory does just that. To achieve this feat Kingston used select high quality HYNIX ICs that are capable of running at 1600Mhz with the voltage set as low as 1.35V. Even at this low voltage level the LoVo memory is still able to run 24/7 with a CAS 9 latency. In addition, the memory also support Intel XMP technology, so getting the settings configured in the BIOS is as easy as enabling XMP.
The LoVo memory also comes with a nice low-profile heatsink that sports a green color scheme. The low profile design will of course allow the memory to be installed in any DDR3 based motherboard even if you are using a large heatsink with overhanging fins. As for the color, green has been used for years as the color of the environmental movement, so the fact that the LoVo memory uses consumes less power is fitting.
