INTRODUCTION

Today's high-end gaming and enthusiast systems demand the latest and most advanced hardware and in addition to a CPU with multiple cores, an SLI or Crossfire Graphics Card configuration is quite common to come across. In order to get the best possible performance from these components it is crucial they receive a stable supply of good and clean power. As hardware requirements in power rise more and more by the year, manufacturers have answered with power supply wattages going up and over the 1KW mark. However, although most high end power supplies produce stable outputs purchasing one solely based on the wattage output is not recommended. So If you were lucky enough to get a couple of the latest NVIDIA Geforce GTX295 graphics cards upon their launch a week ago you are likely to need a new power supply that can feed these monster cards.
