Introduction

 

 

 

 

External enclosures are something I have really taken on quite a bit lately, mostly to get a feel of what’s out in the market place – and what I have missed over the last few months.

If we can go back a few months, when we reviewed an enclosure from Akitio – The Taurus Mini LCM. We came away quite happy with the small, sleek enclosure so I contacted Akitio a second time to bring you this review of the Neutrino U3+.

The Neutrino U3+ is once again a small aluminum enclosure that supports 2.5” drives in either solid state or platter format. With that we have Macintosh and PC functionality enabled with Firewire 800 and USB 3.0 ports located on the back of the unit.
