Introduction

Sharing gaming videos has been growing in popularity over the years as social networking has made it easier to show off our greatest gaming feats and post detailed video guides for gamers having hard time progressing in a game. Regardless of the type of video being posted though it is important the capture device being used is both user-friendly and able to capture high quality video and audio. This is exactly what the Diamond USB 2.0 GC500 device is designed to do.

This small video capture device is built to capture and edit video game sessions, or backup media in high definition via component inputs and outputs that support up to 1080i. The unit also supports H.264 software compression and comes with a wide array of support allowing it to work with the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DVD player, camcorder or satellite set top box, essentially any device that can be connected either via a component, or S-video cable.

In addition, once the video is captured and edited the GC500 also has built-in sharing options that allow the recorded gameplay to be added to YouTube and Facebook directly from the included software.
