Introduction

For those of you that are cable management junkies’, having a clean looking interior is just as important as the design and aesthetics of the chassis you purchase. All of this comes together to create the whole build and often times is the finishing touch on something you will be proud of and show off to your friends. Lately cable management has been taken one step further to the point of full power supplies are being sleeved from top to bottom.

Let’s face it no one likes the rainbow colored wires hanging out in the chassis, for one it looks terrible when you put so much time and effort into building a custom PC. Luckily this trend has become so popular that the big dogs of custom PCs have noticed and have brought to the market a number of options for a clean custom look.

Since we have so many options now, I contacted a few people in the industry and setup a comparison review to show off the differences between each brand. I will try to keep this article as straight and narrow as possible, but I do have to admit after looking at these cables you tend to make up your mind before you look closer at the quality.

In this review we will take a look at NZXTs Premium Cable starter kit which is available at Amazon for 24$ along with Custom cables from Modright and Maxfinder. Before you go off on a limb and wonder about Bitfenix, we did contact them but they were unable supply the cables as they were out of stock in their warehouse. The show must go on so let’s dig a little deeper into premium cables.
