INTRODUCTION

To me having a good PC case is equivalent as having a good body in both aspects of appearance and performance. Unfortunately not everyone has the same belief and so there are many people out there who consider the case of their computers as shells in which the various components are stored and nothing more than that. However they couldn’t be more wrong. Even by just avoiding the appearance aspect ( which is a big matter to many people including myself ) the computer case can not only make the difference between a loud and a silent system but also between a hot and a cool system.

Antec has had many award winning cases in the past with several great designs and excellent construction quality such as the Antec 900 and recently the highly innovative Skeleton which we will be having on our test table soon enough. Antec was founded in 1986 and is recognized as a pioneer in the Do-It-Yourself ( D.I.Y ) market. Their massive line of products includes high quality power supplies, PC cases for every available usage, HDD Enclosures, Multimedia Hardware, Cooling products and various accessories for PC systems and Notebooks.

Today on the table is their latest Gaming PC Case the Antec Twelve Hundred. The 1200 although not the biggest case around still it features twelve drive bays, a massive cooling system comprised by six 120mm LED and one 200mm fans, seven expansion slots and a stylish black finish that is hard not to like. So will The Unbeatable Gaming Case ( According to Antec ) prove to be a worthy successor to the Antec 900 ?
