INTRODUCTION

Standalone Hardware Media Players have been around for quite a few years now offering remarkable media file support and very good image quality in a tiny package. However it wasn't until just recently that some manufacturers decided to use the Android OS with their newest solutions instead of the usual (and quite more stable) GUIs. TViX (DViCO) was the first manufacturer to jump the gun with the quite good XROID A1 smart multimedia player which as mentioned before did have some issues with the Android system (most of which are resolved through firmware updates). Since then however others have also joined the game including A.C.Ryan which introduced their own Smart Android Hub called the VEOLO.

Since this is the very first attempt by A.C.Ryan to enter the Android market the VEOLO makes use of the Android 2.2 OS version allowing you to access rich content social media sites, play Android compatible games and of course watch all your favorite movies. However since the 2.2 Android version was one with quite a few issues i was quite skeptical about what to expect since as mentioned the XROID A1 by DViCO did carry quite a few issues at launch. Luckily we started using the VEOLO upon the release of its first firmware update so it's perhaps because of that we didn't encounter any extremely serious issues. However all is not perfect and this is certainly not a perfect world so keep reading to see what exactly the latest VEOLO is all about.
