    We now have less than 20 days until Christmas and naturally most of us will be going away for the holidays (although i am not 100% certain yet) so i imagined that the most suitable review would be of something that could come in handy during the holiday season. On the other hand CES is also a month away so even if you're not planning to go away for the holidays you may attend the consumer electronics show (judging by our target audience that is not farfetched). A while ago we tested the latest portable battery by Sandberg called the PowerBank 8000 and surprisingly enough that particular review was discussed in many forums around the web between people who actually go on trips all the time so such a device would be extremely useful to them. Because of that and also because thorough portable battery reviews are very hard to find we decided to also take a look at perhaps the most famous portable battery around, the ZAGGsparq 2.0 by ZAGG.

    ZAGG claims that the ZAGGSparq 2.0 is the world’s most powerful portable battery backup but that's not entirely accurate, not since there are currently quite a few portable batteries in the world that sport a capacity of 8000mAh (including the PowerBank 8000) compared to the 6000mAh Lithium polymer battery of the ZAGGSparq 2.0. Of course back when the ZAGGSparq 2.0 was first released perhaps there wasn't anything more powerful and that statement has just remained ever since, i really can't say. In any case the 6000mAh battery capacity of the ZAGGSparq 2.0 is quite enough to charge pretty much every cellular phone up to 4-5 times so it should be enough to cover most if not all your portable needs.
