INTRODUCTION

 

 

    The never ending introduction of new CPU systems in the market results into a  growing demand for better and larger variety of cooling solutions. So it is only natural for more and more new companies to step up and try to secure a place amongst the top cooling system manufacturers out there. Some succeed and some never reach our ears. 3R System is one of those companies that managed to break free and entered with force into both the retail and OEM market with a line of impressive products.

     3R System is a company i had never heard of up until a few months ago when i stumbled upon their latest case design the L2000. The innovation of that single case alone made me respect their work. 3R System is based in Korea and has been around since the year 2000. They soon afterwards understood the importance of innovation and so they not only invested much in the R&D department but also decided to listen to the opinion of their buyers. Currently 3R System is manufacturing air and water coolers for CPUs and GPUs alongside with a huge selection of cases spanning from HTPC cases to Big towers. They also sell their products as an OEM partner to other companies.

      The first unit from 3R System that we have the pleasure of testing today is their latest CPU Air Cooler named the BOSS. The BOSS like most high end coolers out there also features an Direct Touch Heatpipe base and a U type design. The only real question is if this CPU Cooler can go up against the rest of the high end CPU Coolers in our arsenal.
