With summer almost behind us as always we will see many new products introduced into the market from just about every company in the world in order to make it in time for the Christmas shopping spree we are all used to. What is really rare however is to see new companies emerge just after the summer period and today on our test bench we have a product by one such company called Phanteks. The product in hand is called the PH-TC14PE and as you can see from the above image it's a very large sandwich type CPU Cooler.

This results in our quality products. Our expertise means no job is impossible, and that every customer is given a professional and personal service that is rare in today’s marketplace. We meet our customers’ expectations with superior products, customer service and industry knowledge.
Although Phanteks has been around for over 20 years this is the first time i hear of them so it's quite safe to assume they were in the OEM business up until today. In any case the PH-TC14PE is a sandwich type dual-heatsink CPU cooler much like the NH-D14 by Noctua and the Silver Arrow by Thermalright so at first glance you are not going to see anything new in terms of design, although the 4 different colors (snow white, red, orange and blue) the PH-TC14PE is currently available in is a fine touch. However Phanteks also added a few interesting things such as P.A.T.S and C.P.S.C which to make things really easy to understand are special coating patented technologies performed onto the aluminum fins of the unit for improved cooling performance. The only real question is if they actually work or not so follow us to find out.
