INTRODUCTION
Cooling solutions manufacturers refuse to remain indifferent to the continuous rising demand for high efficiency cooling solutions needed to deal with constantly increasing heat dissipation of modern CPUs. The result is a variety of high end cooling solutions often referred to as super coolers. Their sole mission is to keep the CPU or GPU cool and stable at all times.
Scythe is one of the most known companies in the PC industry mainly because they have been making some of the best coolers around for many years. From the Scythe Ninja to the Scythe Infinity and Mugen, there is a Scythe cooling solution virtually for every possible need a user may have. It is no coincidence that the Scythe name has been synonym to the CPU cooling for a long time.
Today we will have the pleasure of testing Scythes latest proposal in CPU cooling, the enormous sized Orochi. The Orochi took its name from a snake like mythological being in Japanese mythology. Scythe obviously decided was a good name for a huge CPU cooler and they are right, it is quite a fit name for it. But In the end does size matter so much in CPU coolers or is it really unnecessary? We are here to find out.
