INTRODUCTION

Yesterday we brought you a review of what could be the best all-in-one X58A based motherboard in the market, the G1.Assassin by Gigabyte. However since just a handful of towers in the market can accommodate the XL-ATX (EATX) factor it seems only natural that we also bring you a review of a compatible PC Case and so today we will be taking an in-depth look at the latest and largest unit by Cubitek the HPTX Tank.

Founded in 2002, in Taiwan, Cubitek Co. Ltd. initially focused on an OEM/ODM business model. In the Spring of 2010 we reorganized to be able to become a branded manufacturer and now develop our own interesting and unique PC chassis. Our philosophy: "Build something we would want to buy at a price we would want to pay". Managed by members of Taiwan's IT industry, with many years of experience in R&D, sales and marketing, Cubitek aims to bring a new dimension to PC cases.

As the name of the product reveals the HPTX Tank is compatible with the largest mainboard currently in the market the SR-2 by EVGA so fitting the XL-ATX G1.Assassin in there shouldn't be an issue. Cubitek also offers an XL-ATX version of the same case but since many of you asked about this particular model we just couldn't say no (and we were quite glad we didn't). So we know that the Cubitek HPTX Tank is a huge PC Case but since size is not always what matters lets proceed with our closer look.
