INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

    Although roughly 5 years ago we waited months at a time for a new PC case to hit the market things have changed quite a bit and so today new PC cases are launched almost on a daily basis. Of course this is a very good thing since not only does increased competition results in lower prices but also because there are more cases for someone to choose from. Enermax also joined the PC case race quite a few years ago but up until today their highly respected name in the market was a direct result of their excellent power supplies. Today we are taking a look at one of their latest midi tower PC cases the Hoplite.

    The Hoplite is named after a legendary ancient Greek soldier battalion and so as a Greek you can imagine how excited i was when it arrived on my doorstep. However that also means that i had great expectations from it and i am really happy to say that for most part they were covered since Enermax gave the unit quite a few nice features including two 3.5' hot-swap drive bays, two SSD trays, top hot-swap HDD dock, USB 3.0 ports and a forward 120mm Vegas LED fan capable of producing up to 11 light modes.
