Apacer AL720 HD Media Player

With more and more standalone media players appearing in the market and media playback support added to quite a few LCD and Plasma screens it's really a wonder that film studios haven't really taken steps to support them. Blu-Ray is of course a very nice media but considering it takes up physical size and costs quite a lot compared to what a downloadable movie would one can't really call it the future. Hopefully film studios will come to figure that out soon, if not well it's their loss really. Anyways today we bring you yet another worldwide first hardware media player review surrounding the latest Apacer offering the AL720.

A few months ago we had the chance to review the AL670 HD Media Player by Apacer which proved to be a nice unit overall with just slight quality issues. The AL720 improves everything we did not really like with its predecessor and ontop of that adds space for an internal 2.5' HDD, has a far better build quality and is far smaller. The only thing Apacer skipped on was placing a small angled VFW/LCD screen on the top which unfortunately is not something we see a lot with media players. Let's move forward then to see if you will also like the AL720 as much as we did.
