INTRODUCTION

Ever since i was a kid i always wanted to find a cost-effective and rather easy way to draw pictures onto my computer, something which back then was quite impossible. Ok we did have certain tablets on which you could draw using a pen or pens with which you could directly draw on a touch screen but these solutions cost more than what most people made in a month. However for the past 5 years there have been huge steps in that field allowing us to have such a device (only a lot better) for just a fraction of the money. Wacom is the leader in that field and a few months back we had one of their basic solutions on our test bed. Today however we have a larger and more improved version of that same device.

Wacom K.K. was established in Ageo-shi, Saitama-ken back in July 1983 and ever since they have been producing high quality innovative solutions for CAD users around the globe. After significant growth their headquarters where transferred to Otone-cho, Kita Saitama-Gun, Saitama Pref in January 1993. Currently the Wacom manufacturing lines include PC Tablets, Tablet Components, CAD Software and Professional DJ devices.

The Bamboo Fun Medium Pen and Touch is targeted mostly towards people who like to draw pictures but it also features the basic multi-touch functionality which allows you to use up to 4 fingers to scroll, zoom, rotate and flip documents and pictures. Overall however the size of the Bamboo Fun Medium Pen and Touch is what really makes it stand out when compared to the rather entry level pen and touch device we had here a few months back (although for me black is more my color). So let’s move forward and see what the Bamboo Fun Medium Pen and Touch by Wacom is really all about.
