INTRODUCTION

As most of you know we always like to review high-end graphics cards by both NVIDIA and ATI mainly because enthusiasts and hardcore gamers are the ones who research prior to buying a graphics card. However because some of you requested that we also do reviews of entry-level cards we now have started to receive such products in an effort to satisfy all of you out there. The first of those products is the entry-level/low-end NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB Classic Edition by AXLE.

AXLE International Holding limited being NV Card Manufacturer, insists to provide the best to its customers, not only for the products but also the service. The only belief is quality maintains the survival of the company. Established in 1988, over 20 years grew and developed under keen competition, AXLE found its own way ~ service & quality. Today, we have our factory with over 600 workforces in Mainland China with capacity of 190k per month. Headquarter in Hong Kong, sales offices in Germany, Dubai and China, AXLE products are distributed all over the world, such as in Asia, Middle East, Russia, Eastern and Western Europe. Sales turnover exceeds US$45 million in the past financial year. Since 2000, AXLE became one of the biggest NV Card manufacturers in Asia Pacific region. This provides the most accurate information and cost advantage to AXLE.

The GeForce GT 430 1GB is based on NVIDIAs GF108 graphics processor and is mostly targeted towards casual users and gamers who don't want to spend much on a card and don't really require much firepower. All GeForce GT 430 graphics cards feature two stream multiprocessors, each with 48 ALUs, 16 texture mapping units, 4 raster back ends and come with support for multichannel HD audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. With all of the above in mind the GeForce GT 430 1GB should also make a fine candidate for HTPC owners although in terms of noise output things are not so positive although the custom cooling solution does keep the card cooler than the reference one.
