INTRODUCTION

Whenever we are in the receiving end of portable MP3 or MP4 media players there's always one thing that is somewhat neglected by all of their manufacturing companies, the bundled earphones. Of course we can relate to the fact that when an MP3/MP4 player retails for around $50-100 you can't really bundle it with expensive earphones and this really does not come as a surprise since most people don’t care about having the best possible audio quality with their player. With that in mind several companies have been producing high quality earphones for all of us that really cherish quality sound. Atomic Floyd is amongst the top companies in that field although they are counting but a few years in the market.

Atomic Floyd is a pioneering collective of designers and engineers from Nike, adidas and Philips. They have spent years pushing industry boundaries through experimentation, invention, testing and crafting, to produce Atomic Floyd, the world’s first beautifully engineered headphones with superb acoustic performance. Using only high-end materials like Titanium2™, a smart alloy with super elastic properties and Acoustic Steel, specifically heated injection molded steel, Atomic Floyd promises to deliver and exceed, the superb quality of sound demanded by today’s digital consumer at a price point that is accessible and with a 3 year warranty.

The AirJax Titanium2 earphones by Atomic Floyd are manufactured using unique materials and feature a seriously stylish look. However these are not your ordinary every day earphones since they may enter your ear like every other set in the market but they also come with adjustable metal (Titanium2) ear hooks which keep them in place even if you are running. Also much like the HiDefDrum the Airjax Titanium2 feature acoustic steel to provide the best possible audio reproduction. But let's move on to the rest of the review and see exactly what Atomic Floyd has been up to lately.
