INTRODUCTION

Regardless of what type of user you are gamer, programmer, graphics designer, enthusiast there's one particular system component that matters a lot, perhaps even more than anything else, the mainboard. True a good mainboard does not promise large performance improvements in games and in programs, not as much as a good CPU or good memory modules or even a good graphics card, when compared with a cheap one but it does mean that you will be able to push your CPU more and it also means that you get better overall system stability. The mainboard with us today is the AMD oriented 890GX Extreme3 by ASRock.
ASRock was established in 2002 and ever since then they have been producing high quality, innovative motherboards from the mainstream user to the high end enthusiast. During all this time they have used the design concept of 3C, Creative, Considerate, Cost-effective, and have successfully established a well-known leading brand of the best price-performance motherboard in the industry. ASRock products high recognition stems from company’s devotion to bring the most cost-performance products to users. Besides creative features and solid products, ASRock engineers also pay special attention to EMI, thermal, acoustics and details to achieve complete customer satisfaction. In addition to price-performance, creative and considerate features, ASRock also pay special on the issue of eco-environmental protection with the release of ROHS products and energy saving functions to save the environment. It is therefore no coincidence that their modo is "Motherboard, We Master It!".
The 890GX Extreme3 is the second best mainboard based on the 890GX chipset in the ASRock arsenal, the best is their new Extreme4 model which comes with slight improvements over the Extreme3. In any case the 890GX Extreme3 features support of up to 140W processors, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, six SATA III 6Gbps ports and also comes with the ability to unlock all CPU cores on AMD Phenom II X2 and X3 processors via their unique UCC feature. The unit also comes with the ASRock patented True 333 technology which allows you to run PCIe, SATA3 and USB 3.0 all at full speed and at the same time, something other mainboards lack.
