INTRODUCTION

Portability has become quite trendy in our days and although i am far from trendy when it comes to most things in life I’d choose to carry small things with me, over large ones, any day of the week. With that in mind Arctic (former Arctic Cooling) has released an entire line of products from portable speakers and Bluetooth headsets to solar powered chargers and tiny fans and once again we happen to have all of them with us to see just what Arctic has been up to for the past months. Today we chose to bring you a nice combo between their newest S111 2.0 portable speakers and their C1 mobile USB charger with solar panel.
ARCTIC is a privately owned company founded in 2001 with headquarters in Switzerland, offices in Hong Kong and the USA and production facilities in Asia. The ARCTIC COOLING team consists of international highly educated people with business, technical and communicational skills. The attitude to work is based on Swiss principles of innovative spirit and high standards of workmanship for which it is recognized internationally. This striving for excellence is integrated in all processes as a matter of course. ARCTIC COOLING/s core competencies are multifarious including systematic noise reduction, copper and aluminum heatsink development, customization of thermal solutions, as well as designing quiet fans. More recently quiet and cool PC Cases and Power Supplies have been developed.
The Arctic units we have here with us today are quite special not because of their portability but mostly because of their quality and innovation. For starters the 2.0 speaker system is more powerful than most similar units i have ever used, however in order to accomplish that this set needs an external USB power source and that's where the C1 mobile USB charger comes in. The C1 also features a top solar panel that could actually come in handy if your cellular phone ever runs out of battery in the middle of nowhere, or at the beach, and you have no other means to recharge it.
