INTRODUCTION

The tech bench is an interesting product for a lot of reasons.  It mainly caters to those who are either constantly installing or uninstalling parts on their system or those who use extreme cooling like high end water, phase, or liquid nitrogen to push their systems to the limit.  Danger Den’s original Torture Rack acrylic tech bench is one of the first names that has come to mind for a while when tech junkies want more than a motherboard box to install their components on but can’t be bothered with the confines of a normal case.

The Torture Rack 2, while sleek and sexy on its own, stands out a bit in the realm of tech benches with its small footprint.  It is still made of the same high grade 3/8” acrylic that its big brother is known for and other than the reduced functionality when it comes to water cooling, seems to retain most of what has made the original Torture Rack famous.  Does the smaller size make this bench less functional for those of us that don’t want to run a water cooling setup?  There’s only one way to find out…..
