INTRODUCTION:

It seems that most companies have jumped on the bandwagon of HDT technology when it comes to manufacturing CPU coolers and for good reason.  Many tests have proven it an effective method of keeping an overclocked CPU cool at a reasonable price to the consumer.  With so many of these coolers being released by several companies, it’s hard to know exactly which one to buy.  Some coolers offer cooling that is hard to beat but are too loud for those that like their PC to be as silent as possible.  Other coolers have whisper quiet fans but don’t cool well enough for the extreme overclocker.   Striking a balance between the two can be a tough proposition. Vantec has offered their solution in their release, the AeroFlow FX 120.  Utilizing the highly popular HDT technology and wrapping it in an attractive frame, the AeroFlow hopes to strike the balance between quality cooling and low noise.  Does the cooler accomplish its goal?  The only way to find out is to install it and see…….
