INTRODUCTION

Although i am mostly focused on high end CPU coolers due to the fact that this is the area that really matters most to every gamer/overclocker out there, still sometimes i find the need to test low to medium end CPU cooling solutions for people who really want something cheap but quite better than the stock offering. For exactly that reason the product we will be testing today is the new Cooler Master Hyper TX3, a rather small but much promising CPU Air Cooler.

Cooler Master is a company that really needs no introduction as they have been a part of the PC aftermarket from the very beginning. Their products are always high in quality, stylish and innovative while at the same time their performance is excellent throughout the board. Cooler Master was founded with the mission of providing the industry's best thermal solutions and ever since its establishment a decade ago, the company has remained faithful to this mission, emerging as a world leader in products and services for companies dealing with devices where heat issues must be resolved. In pursuing this mission, Cooler Master is absolutely committed to delivering solutions that precisely meet customer requirements for features, performance, and quality.

The Hyper TX3 follows the classic U-shape heatpipe design but its small size screams that this is not a high end CPU cooling solution. Still with 3 copper heatpipes, H.D.T ( Heatpipe Direct Touch ) base, universal mounting and a very nice price this unit has the potential to be one of the hottest products of Christmas. So the only unanswered question is how well it does in terms of performance and how much better it is than the stock cooling offerings.
