     Whenever a friend of mine or a friends friend builds a new house the same question is always made to me about what they should use to make their homes more secure. Of course there is the normal security devices that make noise and notify the local police department or private security companies but people don't seem to trust that anymore so they turn to other solutions such as the installation of an indoor camera coupled with a VCR. However what most people fail to realize is that we are in the computer era and so my first answer is to forget the VCR and use an IP Camera instead which they can also control from anyplace in the world. Today is our third review of such a device and unlike the previous 2 units this one also features a quite impressive night vision mode.

     So Airlive's latest IP Camera model, the WL-2600CAM sits on our test bench today and it does look great. In comparison with the 2 previous camera systems we have had the chance to test this one does not only feature a night vision mode but it can be accessed via wireless which many people will find quite useful. The only drawback is that you can't install it in places that both the previous camera systems can but like i always say, you just can't have it all.
