INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

         Back a few days ago we had the chance to present you with the most powerful single GPU card in the market, namely the 2GB variant of the Nvidia Geforce GTX285 manufactured by Gainward that also features an custom cooling solution. Needless to say there are other companies that also manufacture a 2GB Variant. Still since GTX285 models currently cost more than 300Euros/320$ we have decided to give you a review of a card which offers similar performance as the GTX285 but with a lower price tag, word of course is about the Geforce GTX275.

 

 

 

         Leadtek was founded in 1986 and ever since they started manufacturing serious graphics cards they have been exclusive partners with NVIDIA while at the same time they have expanded their product line into manufacturing TV, Video cards and a wide array of multimedia products. Innovation and Quality is their company modo and in order to satisfy even the most demanding client they spare no expenses when it comes to their R&D department. So by doing that not only have they have gained the respect and loyalty of the market but their products have also won countless awards from press worldwide.

 

        

 

          The Geforce GTX275 is the first product in a long time that manages to combine very high performance and a medium price tag. Todays unit comes from Leadtek and is based on a reference design which is quite logical since the Geforce GTX275 variant has not been out in the market for long. Of course we will be putting it up against the Gainward GTX285 and other cards to see how well it performs and as you will see later on it does extremely well.
