INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

             Although we have quite a large review list with products from just about every company in the PC market yet up until this moment we never really had the chance to get a Lian Li product in our hands. Lian Li is one of the oldest companies in the PC market with almost 25 years on their shoulders and with countless award winning cases in their portfolio which were always mostly targeted towards PC enthusiasts not only because of their excellent build quality but also because of the price tag they carried and still do. Since then they have started manufacturing other products as well such as accessories and around 8 months ago they passed into the power supply market with 2 lines of products, the Maxima Force line and the Silent Force line. It comes as a surprise that it took so many years for Lian Li to make use of their name and quality in order to venture into other fields but i am glad that they did, besides better late than never.

              The Maxima Force is the best out of the two Lian Li power supply lines and as main market share it has gamers, overclockers and enthusiasts due to the superb performance and features of this unit. From a first look i have to say that the unit gains many points because of its finish, weight, size and various features you see on the outside but it also loses some because it is not modular like most power supplies in the market. In any case since this is the first attempt by Lian Li in the power supply segment we are extremely curious to see how well they did although their reputation leaves little doubt in our minds but even so you can never be certain about anything.
