When it comes to all things related to a network a couple of names always come on mind like DLink, Netgear and Zyxel. All of them are companies with a long history in the networking market and all of them have gained countless rewards not only about the high quality of their products but also for their performance and innovations. TRENDnet is a name i came across a few months ago and although at first i did not pay too much attention to them i later on found out that their products are also of very high quality as they are innovative, still up until today i was unaware of the exact performance level of their products.

With us today we have the newest wireless router by TRENDnet, the TEW-672GR. This is a Dual Band wireless router that can transmit in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz ( not simultaneously ) and so far only a handful of devices support this protocol. Other than that the TEW-672GR supports 802.11b, G, N and 802.11a wireless modes. It also supports port forwarding, SPI firewall, Access Control and comes with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and a Gigabit WAN port. Overall this is a feature rich wireless router and so i hope its performance is also on par with the rest of the unit.
