INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

          A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine came to me and asked me about which usb stereo headset he should buy mainly for msn and everyday music use because his couple of months old headset had stopped working. Since i have had little or no experience with cost effective entry level solutions i started digging around to see what i could recommend to him that would be good and at the same time inexpensive. Finally after three days of scouting and reading about every single one cost effective solution in the market i stumbled across the Unatic headset by a well known manufacturer in Sharkoon.

 

 

          Sharkoon was established in Germany back in 2002 and has shown consistent growth and set itself apart through steadily increasing sales. Since then they have formed a worldwide distribution network spanning in more than 30 countries including Taiwan in which they have also established a foreign office. Sharkoon offers a portfolio of unrivalled products for all areas of the PC with a continuously expanding selection of products in order to target the largest possible group of customers. Their goal is the continued growth and expansion of their expertise, to be demonstrated in the establishment and development of successful and sustainable business relationships with their customers and partners. A few of their biggest strengths are their flexibility and rapid response capabilities and the ability to react to future market and technology trends.

          

 

          Although the Sharkoon Unatic headset is just a stereo headset just like hundreds of others in the market, you can easily see the difference in build quality between that and other similarly priced solutions in the market. The Unatic is heavier and with far better materials than most of the solutions i came across during my search and although i have to admit that there may be a better solution in the market i just did not find it, not in that price range anyway.
