INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

         Cooling the new INTEL i7 CPU has proved to be more than a challenge for cooler manufacturing companies and so as a result we have seen quite a few innovative and high quality solutions for the past month that manage to produce great results with the i7 platform. However the flow of i7 compatible CPU coolers leaves an important question as to which one is the best of the bunch. As promised today with us we have the third out of quite a few  i7 compatible CPU coolers which happens to belong to the tower or U-Type family design and is made by a well known and respected company in the cooling field, Noctua.

These connections form the key to the achievement of our goal: The partnership with the OIWV permits the application of scientific measurement instrumentation, methods of calculation and simulation technology in the R&D process. Rascom's long, customer-oriented experience in developing and distributing sound-optimized high-end products ensures a clear focus on the users' needs. The use of Kolink's advanced manufacturing technology and ultra-modern production plants allows us to efficiently implement our technical edge and provide solutions of the highest standard in quality and performance.

 

 

         The product at hand today is the NH-U12P Special Edition and it is specifically designed for the LGA1366 platform. Long time readers and generally people that follow things may remember the NH-U12P review about 8 months ago which yielded great results with the LGA775 platform. Well the NH-U12P SE is basically the same CPU cooler but with a second 120mm fan and a new LGA1366 mounting system. Back then i also did a push & pull configuration test ( two fans ) and so i pretty am convinced that this cooler will shine in our tests.
