INTRODUCTION

This month has been dedicated into reviewing all of the latest CPU Cooling solutions in an effort to make it easier for all of you who plan on getting a new INTEL i7 or AMD AM3 system and are not quite sure which cooler you should choose. So together with us we have a wide collection of CPU coolers from the top manufacturing companies worldwide which we will do our best to bring to you almost on a daily basis. Most of the units reviewed are based on the tower design or U-Type design, so you can expect them to produce excellent results across the board. The second unit with us this week is made by Thermaltake and is targeted towards people who want great performance with the least possible noise.

Since the beginning of Thermaltake in 1999, they have been at the forefront of creating new and exciting products at a time where most computer users were provided little to no choices for components that may seem irrelevant, but in reality crucial to the performance of a PC. Thermaltake Server Series solutions, with years of thermal experience and industry leadership, sets its goal on reforming total thermal management in server segment by formulating the perfect mixture of versatility, efficiency and thermal management with each respective server product category: Rackmount Chassis, Server Fixed & Redundant Power Supply and Server CPU Cooling Management Solutions. With its comprehensive line of products available, it enables Thermaltake's core customers to enjoy a one-stop-shop experience, reduce product design-in evaluation period and most important of all, flawless integration process. Each of Thermaltake's strengths enables its customer to focus on their core business while taking advantage of the skills and efficiency of a single thermal management solution partner.

The ISGC-300 is one of the few U-type CPU Coolers Thermaltake has in its inventory and at a first glance you see nothing out of the ordinary or special with it. However after looking at it a bit more you will see the special designed fan blades which supposedly offer less noise than conventional fans. Like i said since this is a tower design CPU cooler the results should be quite good but what about the noise levels, this is something we will find out later in this review.
