Introduction

Edimax is a little known company in the Networking market with a strong product portfolio including routers, switches, range extenders etc. Literally everything you need they have it. Now with the release of the N300 Universal WiFi Extender, Edimax is looking for another market and promises the ability to extend the range of 802.11 b/g/n networks. Unless you have the money to spend on a high dollar router with extreme range such as the Cisco E4200 we reviewed a few months back your most likely going to run into a situation where you wireless signal is weaker than you prefer, and as such it may not make it out to the patio where you drink your morning coffee. This is where the Edimax N300 comes into play.
