INTRODUCTION

 

      With the Christmas holidays just around the corner it is only natural for people to go out and buy presents to each other or for themselves. The Economy crisis is bound to reduce the number of sales this year but still it is Christmas. The main dilemma that most people who are out to buy a new player for their HDTV will have to face is what to get. The vast variety of players in the market is really confusing for most buyers since in the market we have the normal DVD-Players, the High Definition Blu-Ray players and the standalone HD Multimedia Players.

      The Raidsonic ICY BOX IB-MP3010HW is a standalone HDD Network-Recorder and Multimedia-Player with HDMI output and WLAN function that supports virtually all media formats with the exception of the Matroska ( MKV ) format. The big array of available features makes this a very tempting unit so let’s head to the test and see if it really is.
