INTRODUCTION

For the past month some of you have been complaining about us not releasing many CPU Cooler reviews lately, some even accused our database of being too long like if that could ever be a bad thing. Well it seems after all that our LGA1366 CPU Cooler database still has some life left in it since for the past 2 weeks we have received quite a few of the latest CPU Coolers to hit the market. Today as revealed by the title we will be taking a look at the latest and much anticipated CPU Cooler by Zalman, the somewhat unique looking CNPS11X EXTREME.
Zalman Tech co.,Ltd. was founded in 1999 and introduced to the computer industry the concept of 'Noiseless computing'. In a world filled with noisy computers,'silent' cooling solutions were sought everywhere and contributed to Zalman's rapid growth into the world's leader of high performance, ultra quiet PC cooling solutions. Zalman continues to lead in the industry through decisive R&D investments, peerless craftsmanship, intensive global marketing, and generous customer support. Business diversification with innovation such as 2D/3D Convertible LCD Monitors, Heatpipe Cooled Power Supplies, Notebook Coolers, Surround Sound & Dual Stereo Headphones and FPS GUN Gaming Interface holds true to Zalman's promise to provide 'Cool Innovations'.
The new CNPS11X EXTREME follows a different design especially when compared to previous models by Zalman and so i was curious right from the start about what performance we could expect from it. Being the latest and highest number model in the CNPS line i knew it would perform well but since nothing is ever certain and because you can't add a second 120mm fan on the unit like for example the CNPS10X Performa i was quite skeptical. Since however i don't like spoiling the surprise (not always anyways) let's move on and take a look at the CNPS11X Extreme by Zalman.
