INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

    Having already performed the largest Mouse unit roundup online (at least up until that moment) a few months back most of you are aware how important having a good mouse is to us. Of course the same applies to hardcore gamers and professionals and because of that the market has been filled with countless units from low-end to ultra-high-end from just about every company in the field. However there are only just a handful of companies i personally consider as being the best at that and Roccat is without amongst them. So today we are testing their latest Kova+ mouse which as the name suggests is an improved version of the original Kova mouse which we had the chance to test in our roundup.

    Compared to the old Kova mouse the new Kova+ version comes with three quite nice improvements such as a rubber coating on the mouse instead of plain plastic, 9 customizable buttons instead of 7 and a control application which the original version was lacking. Unfortunately the optical sensor, although updated is practically the same since it sports the same 3200DPI resolution but i guess if they were to also change that they would probably rename the unit and sell it as an entirely new product. Let's take a closer look however and get up close and personal with the Kova+.
