INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

    My first real contact with the Internet was back in 1995 with an 33.6Kbps modem which at the time was considered as the fastest one available. Almost 16 years later technology has made great leaps in terms of speed and so certain areas around the planet enjoy speeds of up to 80Mb/s in both Download and Upload. Unfortunately i don't happen to live in such an area but regardless that most people have one thing in common, a good modem to obtain the best possible speed of their Internet connection. With that in mind with us today we have what might as well be the best Wireless Modem-Router we have ever used, the Wireless-N 300 Gigabit Modem/Router DGN3500 by Netgear.

    For the past 3 years Netgear has been my favorite modem/router manufacturer since their RangeMax DG834N proved to be the best companion for both of my Internet connections. Since then i have tried quite a few modem/routers by many companies in the field but none managed to convince me in replacing both my modem/routers. That being said one can understand how i curious and partially excited i was to learn that the newest Netgear Wireless-N DGN3500 modem/router was on its way here for us to test.
