    With tech users requiring more and more storage space as the size and numbers of files grow, they are also demanding faster ways to transfer that data from one source to another.  With Firewire technology never quite catching on and E-Sata not ever becoming completely mainstream,  USB 3.0 is the latest technology released to accommodate the speeds that users want so they don’t have to spend hours moving files they want to take with them to another source.  USB 3.0 connectivity offers much higher transfer rates than the familiar USB 2.0 that all computer users know and currently love, and also offers backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 controllers and devices.

 

 

 

    Ineo has jumped on the USB 3.0 bandwagon; releasing a wide variety of products to take advantage of this technology.  Today we will look at their USB 3.0 PCI-E adapter, which uses a PCI-E x1 slot to power two USB 3.0 connections.  Also we will look at their 2.5” hard drive enclosure which accommodates any 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD for quick file transfers from machine to machine.
