INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

                Security has always been an urgent issue, primarily for companies large and small who want to ensure the safety of their workers and properties. Lately however the same issue has been bothering households due to the increasing crime rates around the world. For that matter a large number of companies have started to manufacture cost effective security systems including IP cameras to help in the protection of one’s house. Logitech really needs no introductions since they have been around almost since the beginning of computers but it was not until recently that they also entered the security systems market with their Wilife line of security cameras.

                The Logitech Wilife product line includes just about anything one may need when it comes to cameras, from indoor and outdoor systems up to secret surveillance systems. With us today we have their Indoor Camera Master System which should not take more than 5 minutes to setup and as you can see later on it offers very good video quality and motion. This is not an IP camera, instead Logitech decided to use the power lines of the house to transfer the signal and considering that wireless and IP cameras need more than just a power plug to function i consider this to be extremely useful especially for people who do not wish to spend lots of time setting up their security system.
