Introduction

 

As a hardware enthusiast I spend a lot of time tweaking my system to get the best performance possible, which generally involves overclocking the components to run beyond their rated specifications. It is in this situation that good cooling is essential to keep the components at a safe operating temperature. Also, keeping your graphics card cooler will increase its life span, whether you choose to overclock or not.

 

Today I will be taking a look at a new GPU cooler from Evercool - the Formula 2 GPU cooler .Evercool is a Taiwanese based company that specialize in reasonably priced aftermarket cooling solutions. As you know the market is already saturated with coolers from various companies so competition is fierce in this department.

 

Evercool was founded in 1992 and has grown to be a very successful company employing approximately 1000 people. The main market segment that Evercool cater for is the OEM system builders like HP and Acer for example. Just recently Evercool started producing high-end coolers for the enthusiast segment for both CPU and VGA coolers.
