Utilizing UL listed specifications for indoor home use the Power2U outlet brings a central location and ease of use to any family looking to remove the clutter caused by multiple devices. The Power2U accepts USB 3.0 cables and is backwards compatible to all previous USB specifications, while the Smart Power feature of the outlet safely shuts down the USB ports when not in use to minimize the use of electricity.

  The kitchen has always been the gathering place for families, whether you’re sitting down for a meal or just discussing the day’s events. In my home the kitchen is the first room I pass through when coming indoors from a long day in the fields, or a project I was working on in the garage. It has also become the place where all phones, cameras etc. get plugged in to charge for the night. As more devices become mainstream such as iPad’s, Android tablets and smartphones we find the need for more space on our outlets to accommodate these devices. Considering every device comes with its own bulky charger the good people at Newer Technology took on a project that would consolidate all of these chargers down to the bare essentials. Utilizing the bare USB connection that modern chargers use NewerTechnology went to the drawing board and came up with the Power2U USB  wall outlet, and no this wall outlet isn’t your standard outlet you go pickup at the hardware store….It’s on steroids!
