CONCLUSION

Much like with the previous Aurora Wireless Micro Keyboard i had in my hands months ago i really enjoyed the time (12 days) i spend using the Aurora Lite. True it may not come with the bells and whistles featured in gaming keyboards but the Aurora line was never ment for that but rather for HTPC users and generally people who don't like having a wired keyboard and/or mouse. Of course the brushed aluminum body and the scissor keys of the Aurora Lite are perhaps its two strongest points since i doubt you will find something better in terms of build quality, at least not in a wireless keyboard. The only real issue with the Aurora Lite is the lack of rechargeable batteries so you will need to replace the two AAA ones sooner or later. This may not sound weird to some people since most wireless keyboards work with normal AAA batteries but for such a high quality unit to lack that feature simply doesn't feel right.
Thanks to an aggressive pricing strategy by Enermax you can currently purchase the Aurora Lite Wireless Keyboard (KB010W) for just USD55.99 inside the USA (Office Depot) and for around 50Euros inside the EU. Personally although i find the price to be quite low for such a product there's no doubt that some of you may wonder as to why chose the Aurora Lite Wireless Keyboard and not just get a normal wireless keyboard and mouse bundle for half the price. Well the answer is quality, wireless range and of course looks since you will have a really hard time finding something better than the Aurora Lite Wireless. Certainly there's always the Aurora Micro Wireless keyboard around which should be a better choice for HTPC users but that's something that really comes down to personal preference. For us the Aurora Lite Wireless keyboard by Enermax is a fine choice featuring high build quality, great looks and a very good wireless range and that's why it walks away with our Editors Real Deal Award.
