THE GAINWARD GEFORCE GTX 590 3GB

Although all GeForce GTX 590 3GB models in the market currently feature the same reference design the Gainward model is by far the best looking one i have seen. This dual-slot card is almost 28cm in length so make sure it fits in your case.

The reference cooler uses a single 92mm intake fan.

What really makes the Gainward card special is the Archangel sticker on the top of the card. This may not sound important enough to some people but i'd rather have something nice looking in my case than a plain black card.

The Gainward logo is placed on a second sticker at the rear of the card.

A second Gainward sticker is placed on the top.

Right next to the GeForce logo we see the two 8pin power connectors capable of delivering up to 375W of power.

You can combine up to two GeForce GTX 590 3GB cards in SLI for maximum performance.

Aside the fact that Gainward used a black PCB for the card we also see two heatspreders placed behind each of the two cores.

Some of the hot air coming from the card will eventually end up inside your case but most of it should exit from the front.

The GeForce GTX 590 3GB features three DVI ports and a mini-DisplayPort port. As usual an HDMI 1.4a audio device is also included sporting support for Blu-Ray 3D movies, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, AC-3, DTS and up to 7.1 channel audio with 192 kHz / 24-bit output.

As you can see the GeForce logo lights up once you install the card and turn on your system.
