CONCLUSION

 

 

 

 

 

 

   Having never actually used or reviewed an Enermax power supply unit that did not meet or even exceed my expectations the results of the Pro82+ II were somewhat expected by all of us here so i can't really say it took us by surprise. From the stability of its rails even while using 91% of the units total output up to its more than acceptable noise levels the unit performed admirably. Of course the Pro82+ II line is not a high end power supply line and the 625W this unit can output is not what you would call powerful but most casual and light gaming systems will never come to use it all and to most people that's what really counts. The fact that this unit is not modular can't really be considered as a drawback since the power output of the unit does not allow for countless connectors as seen in 800W+ units, still for some people this is also a feature that matters.

 

 

 

    Currently the Pro82+ II 625W by Enermax retails for around USD150 inside the USA and 125Euros inside the EU a price tag that places it right in the middle of similar units. Still without much thought the Pro82+ II 625W is amongst the best units in that price segment not only because of its top performance but also because of the high quality components used by Enermax and its rather rich bundle. Bottom line the Pro82+ II 625W comes highly recommended by all of us for every single one of the reasons mentioned in this review.
