PACKAGING AND CONTENTS

 

 

 

 

 

 

The front of the cooler’s packaging is bright and reflective and gives you a peek at the cooler inside.  Zalman’s “World’s First” PWM fan control is also prominently displayed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This side of the packaging gives photos and descriptions of some of the major features of the 10X Extreme.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The rear of the packaging gives a longer list of features, such as compatibility, fan size, and the high end thermal grease included.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Specs for the 10X Extreme are given on the left side.  Dimensions of the heatsink, compatibility, and fan info are all included.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Upon opening the box, you are greeted with all of the accessories so you don’t have to worry about them spilling everywhere while you get the heatsink out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 10X Extreme is tightly packaged in a form fitting plastic clamshell to keep it stable and safe during shipping.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the extensive amount of goodies that are included with the Zalman CNPS10X Extreme.  Included is a User’s Manual, the screws and nuts for installation, the cord for using the fan controller outside the case, the various back plates required for mounting on a Socket 775, 1156, and 1366 platform, a AMD bracket, and a slick blue case badge.  The syringe of thermal paste is Zalman’s high end ZM-STG2 paste, and you get a 3.5g tube that will cover several applications.  It’s very cool of Zalman to include this instead of the packet you get in other coolers that don’t perform as well and only give you one application.
