INTRODUCTION

 

 

 

 

 

 

    The newest INTEL CPU line, namely the new i5 and i7 CPUs based on the 1156 socket, seem to be getting more and more support by companies and why shouldn't they since they offer similar performance as the 1366 socket but with less money, electricity and lower temperatures. For all of the above it comes as no surprise that companies have not really produced any extraordinary CPU Coolers for the 1156 platform ( although some offer 1156 mounting kits for the behemoth models ).Many months have passed since we had a product made by Noiseblocker (AKA Blacknoise) and so i was quite excited to receive their latest TwinTec model especially since their CPU Cooler have always been amongst the best ones in the market.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     Blacknoise Germany is a company that has decided to specialise in fan and silent technology. Under the NOISEBLOCKER brand Blacknoise Germany develops and markets fans and accessories for reducing the noise produced by PCs, IT technology and electronic products. The core of the company is a small group of employees who have devoted themselves to this theme out of passion and commitment. Blacknoise Germany was the first company in Germany to systematically and successfully take up the theme of silent PCs. The retail and wholesale trade with selected and tested quiet PC accessories began in 1999. Just one year later the NOISEBLOCKER brand was established together with the development of the company's first own fan range, the Ultra-SilentFan. In 2006 direct production was started in China and the restructuring process from a wholesaler and retailer to a technology developer and producer completed. The trade with third party products was reduced or discontinued completely in some cases. Under the NOISEBLOCKER brand the technology company Blacknoise Germany today offers a wide range of fans and silent accessories for reducing the noise produced by PCs, IT and electronic products. The range is marketed throughout the world in over 23 countries. NOISEBLOCKER offers corporate customers not only an OEM service, but also a development service for individual solutions in the field of fan technology. It is noteworthy that the success of the still-young brand is based on the quality and performance of the products themselves and has been achieved almost entirely without the use of commercial marketing instruments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Although the TwinTec follows the same principle as the previous Noiseblocker models, meaning of course the single round heatpipe in the middle, as the name suggests we also se 2 heatpipes going from one side to the other and passing all of the aluminum fins found on the heatsink. As usual the design of the unit is very nice looking, one of the things i always liked with Noiseblocker, and unlike other CPU Coolers in the market Noiseblocker also bundles their best 120mm fan capable of reaching speeds of up to 2000RPM. With the old 775 socket Noiseblocker really made a name of themselves, what remains now for us to see in this Worldwide First review of the TwinTec whether or not they will with the 1366/1156 sockets.
