           Whenever i test something from a great company i always have great expectations about their product. This was also the case and i am very glad to say that the Revolution 85+ 1250W managed to pass all the tests with flying colors. Not only did it manage to supply my system with 850W of power but it did so with extremely stable rails and an very low noise output. Performance aside this is one of the best looking power supplies in the market since the black / red combination really works. I am still curious as to why Enermax decided to use orange paint on their logo found on the fan but that is only me i guess. Moving to the inside Enermax changed a few things and added a few more like the DC to DC circuitry found on the front plate which increases the overall efficiency of the power supply and the 12pin sockets which should provide support for future connectors. As for the overall build quality well Enermax never had a problem with that and nor did the people who have used their power supplies, however the Revolution 85+ series take that to a new level of quality and its always nice to see a company improving on the quality of its products instead of making them worse. With all of the above being said perhaps the single drawback i found with the Revolution 85+ 1250W was the length of its cables which were not as long as the ones found on the CoolerMaster UCP series and so i had to skip doing cable management in the ATCS 840 since if i did that the cables just couldn't reach the highest corner. Still this is a problem that will not likely be encountered by many people.           

 

 

 

 

            The MSRP price for the Revolution 85+ 1250W is 349Euros in the EU but to my surprise i found out that you can find it for as low as 255Euros in various online stores. 349Euros in the beginning was a price that even i considered a bit more than Enermax should charge for this unit but for 255Euros i would even go so far to call it cheap. Remember that the Enermax Revolution 85+ is currently the most advanced power supply line available and the 1250W variant is the highest model. It offers the best efficiency available, excellent voltage regulation and it is build with the Enermax high quality standards. The Enermax Revolution 85+ 1250W gets our editors real deal award because of the various innovations, feature set, power output, highest possible efficiency and great performance.
